hi there

i recently bought this camera to replace a broken camera. i normally buy Nikon cameras as i like the results, but this is even better.

it's a wee bit more than you want to spend, but it has a party piece! it's waterproof, so you can clean it if it gets dirty (oily hands, etc).

I've always found Fuji cameras very good.

hi  there

mobile phones do take good photo now a days, but i don't think the quality makes a good camera, IMHO.

it's all to do with the size of the sensor and the compression, etc.

hi there

one thing i should have added that you need to get a wee padded bag/pouch for it as it only comes with a soft cloth bag.

i've just bought a vivitar vivicam 8370 8 megapixel brand new on ebay for £25 including postage. just used it on trip to poland and found it to be superb and very user friendly, i did need to buy a memory card for it, but that was only £7 for a 2gig which holds over 700 pics.......... Grin
