Well now ive sorted the gear box issues ive got to say my current scorpio is the dogs doo daas . Runs like a dream . Looks the biz (black is the top colour for these cars in my humble opion ) and of course super comfortable . Im now on bended knees praying to god i aint jinxed the car  Grin

Yep.   Really happy with mine.   It's running as well as it ever has especially now the Autobox has been renewed.   The body is about perfect including underneath, I do regular maintenance and give the underneath a scrape and a light brush over with a heavy black paint.   Course over the years I've spent plenty of money on anything it has needed, but I would need to make a huge financial step-up to get anything comparable, and can't justify that for a second 'hobby-car'.   I've still got 'Aunty' and I can't bear to scrap it!   I'm the same with my Bikes, a couple of old Bikes and one good modern Bike, but I only did 1800 miles on my main Bike last year.

craig was at a B&Q at the time then spend 6 hours cutting and recrimping the loom with twin & earth cable to get him home. barley running but it got him home but the damage was done. he sold it to a chap who then added 500 quid to the price and sat it on his forcort with a sign on it saying 'owned by the chairman of the ford scorpio club' lol
 
needless to say he never shifted it ( he did nothing with the faults) and scrapped it
