Hi Guys, I thought that you would be interested in what greeted me first thing on Christmas morning! My beloved 1993 24v Scorpio was totally flattened by a poxy pine tree! Believe it or not, in some ways I count myself lucky because if the tree had fallen in a slightly different direction it would have taken out my house... What now? Should I buy lots of glue, some duct tape and a staple gun and try and fix it?

ceek. That's not actually 'one of ours'! it's a Granada Cosworth, but this makes the situation no less tragic. you certainly have my sympathy, some Christmas present eh ?.You will find another, but maybe not white or in the condition that you will have nurtured that one. All the best and good luck GOZZ.

Geeezz what a mess. If that was mine I would have cried, even in front of those firemen. Hope you don't mind me being nosy but....If you living in Spain, how come it's still got Brit plates on it ? OH yeah. hope you told your insurance the suspension has been lowered.

Ever tried importing a car to Spain and getting it through their ITV test? It's so much hassle that it is far easier to leave the UK plates and take it back once in a while for an MOT.
