Ford radio decoding software virus

I've had this software for about 3 years & never had a problem. But all of a sudden, today, my Comodo anti-virus scan detected a Trojan in the Ford LC version of the software. This is now quarantined by Comodo & hopefully won't cause a problem The Ford 'M' decoding part of the program is still working fine & has no virus issues, but I'm not sure whether this could become infected as well I'm thinking that maybe this open program has always been a bit susceptible to virus infection once someone bothered to get 'round to infecting it' Just thought I'd post this to warn anyone who has this software The actual problem is named....'Trojware.Win32.Agent.~ZFI@104090577'

Some of the software that is back engineered as the decoding software is ( I think) does sometimes resemble a trojan or virus. I personally think that your new virus detection software is now detecting it as such after a recent update.. If you want another copy of the software you use then let me know. I think I have it stored away somewhere!

The Comodo anti-virus isn't new, I've had it for a couple of years, but this is the first time it's detected anything untoward with the Ford radio decoder. Although, as you say, it may been down to a recent update I suppose Maybe the anti-virus is being a little over zealous & confusing part of the program with a virus, but as I said, it's never picked it up before. So for the time being, just to stay safe, it's staying quarantined I can still decode radios starting with 'M', so it's not really a problem.....not much call for decoding the earlier model serial numbers anymore

There are some virus scanners that classify key generators like "security threats" only to cause trouble and delete it, maybe a Ford classified ad.
