Just wondering if anyone has tried one of plastic welding kits ?

Any good ? Easy to use ? Good results ?

Thinking about getting one to fix the cracks in my Sierra bumper.

Yep I have one, great things, very easy to pick up.

Better to use the same type of plastic if you are filling in holes, different plastics sometimes dont bond together.

i usually use a bit of an old bumper or cut off a part of the original one thats hidden from view Wink

Heating gun (adjustable temperature) with welding nozzle is best way to go.

Well, I took the plunge and bought a Sealey plastic welding kit and had a go at the Sierra bumper yesterday - easy to use and all fixed up now. So much fun I also fixed the spare one which was cracked too.  Wink

The fun part was the welding - bumper easy to find - tucked away behind the shed  Wink
