I recon Englands got a tuff time with the USA..... Have you seen there football players. They are built like Craigs car ( A Refrigerator ) They wear crash helmets with bars covering ther faces, and they play with an odd shaped ball...... I pity England

Sack Capello now !!!....he's obviously the reason for the poor performance...why ?.....because he's Italian & therefore has no patriotism toward this country How can any national team player respect a foreign manager when the manager obviously cannot portray any kind of national pride to the team Foreign managers are fine in the domestic leagues, but when it comes the national squad, then surely a manager has to have the ability not just to manage, but to passionately enforce into the players the pride & passion they should feel in playing for their country....therefore, an England manager has to be English ....Steve McClaren need not re-apply No country has ever won the World Cup with a foreign manager & I very much doubt this year is going to be the first time. Anyway, if England fail to progress into the next round on Wednesday......then next week, I will be mostly supporting Holland

i sort of agree with jonnycab , but when we sailed tro the qualifiers he was hailed as a genius.... personally i think its down to the players(again) they just aint good enough , they might look good for they`re clubs but is that because they are surrouned by good foriegn players

Sort of agree Rich, but ultimately it is the manager that picks the players & if he picks the wrong players then he has to take the blame for any poor performances There is a hardcore of players that are very good....Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, etc who are the real backbone of the squad. But there are a few players in the mix that really shouldn't be there & who weren't in the squad when England were playing the qualifying games......& there are a few players that played in the qualifiers, who helped get the team to the group stages who haven't been included in the final squad One player that springs to mind....& I was astounded to hear that he wasn't in the squad...was Theo Walcott The kid scored a hatrick against Croatia in the qualifiers for gods sake .....& although he's not had a great season...mainly due to niggling injuries (he did break his collar bone while playing for England 18 months ago), he was fully fit & ready to go. He can run like Linford Christie & has alot of skill & flair....so why didn't Capello take him ?.... ....I reckon this could have been his time to shine, just as Owen & Rooney did when they were young & hungry ... & why is Capello so reluctant to bring on Joe Cole....& why does he always pick Heskey over Crouch ?...does he not think they are good enough ?...if not, then why did he take them ? I'm sorry, but I still think it's a (foreign) managerial issue why England are playing so bad. I suppose ultimately it is those dunces at FA HQ who are at fault for employing this guy. But it defies belief, that just before the World Cup started, they offered Capello a new 2 year deal worth £6 million a year to stay on as England manager, just so he wouldn't be tempted by the likes of AC Milan etc. Surely they should have waited until after the World Cup ? ....now it's gonna cost them £12 million to sack him
