i said from the start the squad wasnt good enough , as a arsenal fan ive watched theo a lot this season and hes been poor , but i would have taken him as an impact sub like wenger did in the first leg against barcelona , they couldnt handle him . as for joe cole (hope he comes to arsenal) i dont get why capello doesnt play him , but then again nor did ancelotti at chelsea  ??
personally for wednesday i would drop rooney. heskey and lampard , all three have been s**t and i`d play crouch and defoe(as a gooner that sticks in the throat a bit )they know how to play together , and id play cole . we can still get thro but we`ve got to improve 100% .............heres hoping
btw did anyone see that ivory coast player cheating like ive never seen , unbelivable , got to be banned and kaka`s ban overturned

I'm about to turn and support England, after the Algeria display they need all the support they can get!
I could have picked a team from our street that could have given them a game that night! 
They definitely seem to have the same problem as the French, a team of quality players that just dont seem to play together

It is nice to hear that Fabio Capello is trying to boost the confidence of the England squad by setting up a friendly against Iceland. Evidently if they win this they will go on to play Sainsburys and then Tesco.
