For those of you interested in wild birds (feathered variety) the Derby Cathedral Peregrine project has started transmitting live images again for the 2011 season. The female is sitting on one egg at the moment but more are expected soon. Don't be alarmed if she's not there, it's usual for her to go off for a fly around looking for food with her mate for long periods. http://www.derby.gov.uk/dccwebdev/museum/peregrine/webcam.htm

My inlaws next door neighbour has a large birdbox up a tree with a camera in it & sits there watching it on his TV. He even gave my inlaws a DVD to watch They really couldn't contain their excitement when, after an hours viewing, a bird came in & went back out again !! Edge of your seat stuff ...... .....But I'm sure a peregrine falcon is a lot more interesting to watch that a starling
