I don't know, the last time our one got written off (yes, its been done twice) I got £690 plus the car and there was money knocked off because my missus had damaged the front bumper against a post, but the write off was because it needed another rear bumper. Got one for £49, fitted it, touched in the paintwork, and VIC'd last Friday for £41. Back as good a lookin' as it will ever be with 187k on the clock.

I knew I had seen that car before somewhere, just couldn't bring it to mind, wonder how much longer Spikie will get his crust from Scorpio deals,it will either get better as they become rare,or worse as nobody wants them any more. What think ye lads ? GOZZ.

I had seen those cars on ebay. I thought some of the photos a bit cheeky, one was advertising a Blue car with the engine compartment of a red car. I think that some of Steve Savilles prices are quite high, he does a lot of advertising.

I have dealt with Steve Saville once. We went over to get said bumper, new boot lid light unit and a fog light for what I considered to be a reasonable price, but we also turned down a couple of other things because we thought they were a bit much. I understand some have had a bad experience with him, but I found him helpful, possibly because we had driven a hundred miles to find him. First time I had tried Tom Tom and it took me right to the door, much better than mobile phone one where we ended up in a one way cul-de-sac in Sheffield up against a set of barred gates, and the woman on the phone having a nervous breakdown

You got to love the feedback old spikie has left for the seller of the damaged car...."fantastic car for the money will add to my collection too good to sell on" I wouldn't believe anything he said to be honest......... I once got bad feedback off him because the car he bought off me packed up halfway home to essex when I had been running it round for weeks..... probably couldn't stand the strain of 25 stone in it!

Yes Stuart same one. I will have to re-evaluate my own Scorpio's insurance valuations Good luck to him. He is self employed and is still trading in a currently difficult financial enviroment. As for the cat c. It will scare off one or two potential buyers when the words insurance write off are mentioned. Regardless of mileage.
