Anyone know of any good deals on these DIY refill kits?

I've had a couple of tins I've had for a few years now but they finally ran out this weekend, popped into Halfords and they want £50 for one!

Kwik fit also want £50 for a recharge!

Have the prices rocketed up when I've not been watching??  Grin

Sort of...

Thats just a refill can and its not actually R134 gas, although I dare say it must work, I need the whole valve/gauge set up... used to be able to get the whole lot for under £20!!  Grin

Stuart,

Don't mix the gases

Ponce a half bottle of 134 off a local refrigeration engineer, I've got all the proper gauges, so I can do it for ye  Wink

Try a search for EZ CHILL, appears to be dearer than when I bought one. I’d prefer without the leak seal but that seems less common now.
