Hi, is there anywhere on the board that tells you how to upload photos?

[Original attempt deleted]

Please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Use a picture hosting site such as http://photobucket.com/ (you will need to create an account)

Once you have your image account set up; Upload your image using the "upload image" function

Once the site displays thumbnails of whatever images you have uploaded, hover the cursor over the image you wish to post. A box of various links will then be displayed below the thumbnail.

Select the bottom link (the one with "[ img]." )

Copy the entire link including the "[ img].." tags and then put that link into the message and the picture will appear in the post.

One thing to remember PLEASE make sure the picture is NO bigger than 640x480

You can also use tinypic at www.tinypic.com and use the 2nd box down to post. Please don't use imagevenue as it uses pop ups to "unsuitable" adult sites and we don't want to send simmos blood pressure through the roof!!

You can have a look at how the post should look by clicking on the "modify" icon in your original post, it will show you what it should look like using tinypic as the host
. Tinypic also allows you to resize the picture to 640x480 which is the size above
