I have the 4.0 version and have been very pleased with it. Have been told the V8's can have overheating or head gasket issues. Fuel 'economy' is about 15.7 on local journeys but I have got about 24 on a longer run.
My average mileage works out around 50-60 per week so I can live with it.

We're really happy with our Jeep so far  Smiley It's the 4.0 & we're getting much the same economy as Scorpio Mike & doing a similar weekly mileage, so can suffer the fuel costs.
The only real issue we've had so far was rain water leaking in through the windscreen surround & drivers door seal, but both problems are now sorted  Smiley
