Hi Guys, just noticed that the ebayer, National clearance centre, has sent the price of its vss from 82.00 to 114.05 and it's gearbox filter kit from 54.00 to 82.80. Who's robbing who here, where's the justification? Angry

They also have about 450+ 16v fuel cut-off looms @ almost £200 each...maybe they don't want to sell them Huh

Don't worry Matt, I haven't and wouldn't use them. I just noticed the changes, so big they were obvious to see.

FFS I've never paid more than £20 for a filter and pan gasket, that's just plain taking the P, main dealer would be cheaper at retail !!

There's a lot of "trying it on" on eBay at the moment, also an increasing amount of fake stuff appearing.

National Clearance Centre has never really been much cheaper than buying from FMD....not much of a clearance centre, is it  Roll Eyes

Nowadays, I tend to stay clear of FMD & these kind of companies & just buy good used parts. Unless the car is a desirable classic, or you plan to keep it very long term, or do particularly high mileage (like me, but I never buy new unless it's plugs, filters or gaskets) then spending hundreds of pounds on new parts for an old car is false economy  Wink

There are plenty of good used spares available, so why get ripped off by these people that try to make themselves out to be 'end of line, bargain bucket wholesalers'.

Luckily, alot of members on this site have a fair bit of savvy & are wise to what can only be described as almost criminal activity  Wink
