Toad alram systems??

Hi all anyone know anything about Toad Alarm Systems? Never heard of them myself so any info would be useful. Are they worse than the standard alarm fitted to the scorpios? Would the key fob be any different?

Toad are a good make and high end models can start the engine if it detects battery voltage low
however fitting any sort of alarm to a scorpio always have issues due to the cars multiplex wiring system and engineers who havent got a clue of scorpio electrics
leave the standard system in its better then all the fords of the same vintage, double locking with lock guards to stop shim jims being used, a very well built in pats system again thats better then fords of same age,
We had a member who had his window put through in an attempted theft and after destroying the dash and looms still couldnt get it started

Its from the new (hopefully) car but its already been fitted. Will the key fob still be the same with boot release?

I'd guess you would have a separate key fob for the alarm functions and also have the standard Scorpio fob for the boot
