Yeah, I have a cousin in Canada got one of those many years ago, an awful car. It had a 3.6 straight 6 in it and went through fuel at a hell of a rate! All bouncy and handled like a tub of rice-pudd!

| They also got another European Ford re-badged as a Merkur XR4Ti - a Sierra XR4i but with a 2.3 ( Pinto ? )Turbo engine - now has quite a cult following across the pond. I'm told they actually sold more of these in North America than in Europe making it the only Ford to outsell in a foreign market compared to its domestic market.

Ah the Merkur Scorpio. Photo of my old MKIII 4x4 with the imported rear reflector panel and badges. Wish I'd kept her sometimes.

Bet they were annoyed they couldn't make the wheels and steering wheel square/rectangular as well like the rest of it. (Old Jeremy Clarkson joke.)
