Why should we not be surprised. We have one of the most expensive petrol prices in europe. Yet while at the moment oil prices are dropping, why is it that fuel prices are rising?? It maybe because I am on the coast, but our local tesco was 129.9 a week ago and the local shell garage dropped below that to 128.9. Mysteriously, the shell garage raised it's price by a penny, two days later by another penny, tesco by another penny, then another penny. Shell responded by another penny, then another. Oil price not moving up but our local petrol prices are!! My daughter buys her petrol at her local asda and is paying 125.7!!! Manipulation , fiddling, whatever it's called, it's a rip off locally and nationally!!!
