It is nearly upon us....yawn.....same old, just a different venue  Roll Eyes

I got to thinking that maybe some new exciting events should be included, so as to make us uninterested folk want to watch  Wink

1...Rollerball

2...Demolition Derby

3...Roman Gladiator events....to the death

4...Death Race 2000 (or 2012) up the M1

5...Medieval flail fighting

6...Jousting

7...100 metre sprint wearing lead boots

8...Relay with a lit stick of dynamite

9...How many donuts you can eat in 5 minutes

10...Naked female Jelly wrestling, or baby oil...I'm not fussy  Grin

Can't think of anymore for the moment....anyone else got anymore suggestions ?  Smiley

How would 'performance farting' be judged ?....by pungency or decibels ?  Grin

Visually, it would be much more interesting to watch if a box of matches was involved & a petrol soaked rag was placed at various distances from the source of ignition  Grin

I think I am going to put some of these " O l y m p ic " words into the banned list. and ban completely the talk of An event in London!s on this forum.
It hasn't even started and already I am bored with it.
Don't get me wrong I support GB but there has to be a limit. I even get a message on the freeview TV to tell me to update so I can get even MORE An event in London! channels. I am only able to watch one.
So I will let you know what my decision is by tonight. Grin

The 'School Sports Day 4x100 relay' consisting of :
Hopping, sack race, wheelbarrow and egg + sp00n - and make it yards instead of metres to confuse the majority of the opposition  Grin
