i quite agree nevertheless im glad it wasnt subjected to the ordeal the other cars were put through as all that grounding woulg have wrecked the exhaust manifolds. most cracked manifolds are the result of grounding especially on speed humps

What happened? I didn't see it and can't find it on the BBC site. I assume the Scorpio was abused and ridiculed as usual. I've seen them drop one from a crane and crash one into another "ugly" car. I'll keep searching for the video clip, but I just know it's going to be bad!!

Having driven the Scorpio up a slight incline in the snow there is no way I'd want to drive one on those muddy roads!  Looks like a nice example though - I noted it was a Ghia with the Ultima alloys and also a facelift edition.  Wonder what engine it has - I didn't clock the wing badges.  At least they would have had about £1k back on thier budget of £1500!

The Suburu looked perfect for the job though Smiley

Yes I'd be impressed if the forfeit car finishes the African journey as well. Although problee can chuck it onto the back of a lorry instead

Hi all,

The scorpio R568 EKV 2.3 did not die it has been taxed until feb 14 from here https://www.gov.uk/report-untaxed-vehicle look at check for free if it's been taxed!!! It is insured as well from here http://www.askmid.com/

I have just watched these this week and had a look to see if it was still alive.
