Hi there
I am new here and just bought my first ultima and very pleased I am and with thanks to this scorpio site for the buyers guide which has helped a great deal to spot the good in the bunch I viewed(which was not that hard to be honest)
But my reason for this subject is will there be a forum section for our cars   pictures and a bit of a write up
Cheers Ben.

Ben, welcome and good luck with your new car.
There is no specific section for Cars but, as Glynn says, I suggest you continue your post in this section. Photo's should be restricted in size to 640/480 pixels or Snoopy will come flying out of his kennel growling and snarling!! Grin and we don't want that! Roll Eyes Photos need to be 'hosted' on an external site before you can post them on here and there is a write up in 'How to do things' should you need it. One problem that can occur is the use of Img...this site needs it to be all lower case ie: img. Hope that helps.

I see that you are in Essex where we have several members so there should be plenty of local advice should you need it.

A nice collection of scorps you've had there matt
So how come there is not a readers rides section on the main forum ? It seem to have the interest to warrant one.

I think we all know who owns what Scorpio on here, and we all know what each-others Scorpio's look like.   It's always interesting to see the new-comers cars though.

Mine will get on there but in at least a week as I am a bit busy at the mo but its a 2.3 ultima saloon in Atlantic blue   67000 miles one owner on a 98 plate  even found the build sheet on a service I was doing  it was stuffed up on top of the axle  I would of thought it would of fell of or blow away or just rotted by now but no all fine and fairly clean that's German efficiency for you
Tomorrow I going to put some new tyres on it 205 55 16 accelera's which is a tyre that gets mixed reviews but a friend rates highly for a buget tyre I was going for the 225 but I am not a fast driver just a cruiser and they still have a good load rating 94s.
Still seems like good idea to put a show us yours on the main forum though as most sites do and you all have pride in your scorps or you would not be here on this site.
But that's just my view any way.
Cheers Ben.

Hi Ben, sounds like a nice car, especially at that mileage. Atlantic is one of the best colours in my humble opinion, the later cars got some of the nicest colours.

I bunged Avon ZZ3s on mine which I liked - it came to me shod with Nexens, budget Korean tyres but they were pretty good actually Smiley

I can't post any pics, been Scorpio-less now for at least 4 years and I think the guys on here had enough of my Jag fetish years ago Grin
