MOT check website?

Hi
My parents are going to have a look at some cars tomorrow. One car they phoned up about has a 'long MOT' but the dealer cant find the papers 
is there a website i can check myself?
I only have the number plate from the pics, no vin or last MOT certificate.
I can only find out if its taxed or not but nothing about the mot?
Any ideas Guys?

You need the document number off the V5 or a previous MOT cert number to check past MOT's plus the vehicle reg.
If you've got those, you can do it here:-
