Are we all besieged by these advertisements plastered across the forum,or is it just me ? They make for very difficult use of the system May be it's a revenue raiser ?

No ads here Gozz Maybe install 'Adblock' and/or 'Adblock Plus' The above kills any ads on other sites I visit.....Just wish it worked on the TV as well.

Thanks for your thoughts lads,my little secret weapon (Linda) has backed the programme to a previous date, don't know what it's called, she is less computer illiterate than I,and the pesky adverts have all gone. They were on ebay as well, and covered the right side of sellers descriptions, bloody irritating

There should be no adverts whatsoever on the forum or web site - we run it based upon the kind donations of a few people (you know who you are!!) LOL We did try ads at one point but it was so damm annoying that I turned them off. There are a few nasty 'trojan/virus/malware' programs that can affect the unwary by installing what is called an 'add on' into your web browser - and they inject ads onto all web pages you are viewing. You can view the add ons from the browser menu and remove/disable them. Regards Steve Admin

Yes what ^ admin said, sounds like malware. Backdating removed its installation. I'm guessing.
