car code for Vauxhall corsa SX 2003

I know it is not Scorpio related, but my granddaughter has just bought her first car a Vauxhall Corsa SX1 year 2003, there is no code handed over for the radio - Radio is a VDO CDR -2005, hope you can help!

Podge. I'm no expert but I think you'd need to provide the serial number?
If you get the radio out sometimes the code is written on the unit.

I had this issue with a mate's corsa not long ago. There's 2 types of that radio, made by Siemens or Delco.
If it's the Delco one then nobody seems to have a solution other than asking a main dealer. For the Siemens one there are people on ebay who will sell you a replacement security chip to solder onto your own radio with a code of your choice for less than a tenner, but you need to do the dismantling and soldering yourself.
Otherwise a used replacement with code is around £30.
