Replacing the Alternator

Hi, I have Scorp 2.9 12v Auto. The Alternator has packed up, any ideas on the easiest way to replace it. Or any pointers to a website that can do a step by step guide to it.
Also it is leaking power steering fluid, I think it is the power steering pump, any ideas on that too??
