Had a few problems with my car recently had a head gasket fail on me (only done 1000 miles) but that has been sorted now,
Got a new problem now car seems to drive ok but keeps on stalling at junctions and on a run it tends to just die and pick up again very intermitently.
I replaced the fuel filter and the problem seemed to get worst so i fitted a new filter housing as i thought it was drawing in air still had same problem.
I managed to find someone who could read the engine codes and came up with 4 codes 2 unknown and 2 known codes as follows

P1225 unknown
P0725 engine speed sensor
P1503 unknown
P0100 mass air flow

I am hoping the problem lies in the engine speed sensor fault
If any one has any ideas i would appreciate any advice
main dealer wants £120 for the sensor does anyone know anywhere cheaper
 Huh

Hi mick....

I had already checked out this page ealier and as far as i canwork out

P1225 is something to do with a throttle position sensor

and P1503 is still unclear

I think my best bet is to change the engine speed sensor and go from there

thanks for your help
