are the front wheels the same size as the rears. If they are different sizes, it could confuse the abs rings so that the car doesn't know what speed the car is doing because the wheels will turn at different speeds.

Its not that youve disturbed an abs wheel sensor when you changed the wheels? does the abs light come on at the same time? just a thought. BTW, the thing with the different sized wheels? brilliant! i would never have thought of that one!

The ABS en TC lights comes up during the selfcontrol session, and then everything is ok. When I reach 50 kmph, just the TC light flashes and I can't accelerate any more. But TC uses the ABS sensors of the rear wheels, doesn't it?

yes it does. I would guess that either theres something at the wheel thats making it think that the wheel is slipping or theres a fault with the TC module, apparently the module has been known to go wrong.

Hi there Try cleaning the quadrant teeth on the actual shaft. The front ones are quite easy to do just pop of the plastic wheel bearing cap with a screwdriver and get a small screwdriver an old rag and clean each tooth one by one. The rear ones are more difficult I done mine when I changed the wheel bearings But you may find that just by cleaning the front ones will make a diffrence. Good luck Alan
