Hi Everyone, Hope someone can help with this, if you leave the auto box in anything except 'P' and 'N' when you open the drivers door you get a beep/chime. Today my Ultima 24v has started to beep/chime even if the car is in 'P' and 'N'. Hopefully this is easy to sort out ![Huh](https://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/YaBBImages/huh.gif) . Thanks Calum....

Thanks. What I now need to know is how to remove the covers without breaking any of the plastic parts, has anyone had to do this and if so how did you go about it. Thanks Calum

The outer cover which is either blue or black is only held in place by four small plastic pins and it should lift off vertically quite eaily and then all will become apparent... If you want the whole of the centre consul off then undo the two screws in the rear of the tap holder in the centre arm rest and it lifts off..... HTH Snoopy
