2.0 16v auto box oil change

Hi im a newby to this news  group so forgive my ignorance. I want to check and renew (if required ) the gearbox oil. were is the dipdtick ?. The fors user manual just says take it to a dealer.

To check you auto gearbox oil, best to check it after a good run, ( not you, the car) any way you would be out of breath, oh yes, to get back to checking the oil, after a run stop the car on level ground, leave the engine running,
with your foot on the break move the gear change through all the gear's 3 times ending up in PARK then with the bonnet up and looking at the engine from the front of the car, the auto box dip stick is on the left-hand side of the engine, at the back you will see a long thin metal pipe sticking up with a black plastic handle sticking out of it. pull it out wipe the stick with a cleanish cloth push it back down the pipe take it out again and the stick should have 2 notch's on the bottom of it, the oil level should be close to the top notch, and ideally a reddish in colour if it's a dark brown or black or any other colour you might think about changing it .

It's done it again, right instead of push it back let's try put it back in. see if that work's ( it must think it has sexual under tones or something )
