Scorpio 2.0 16v has no instrument lighting or rear lights. Parking lights ok front and rear. Removed and examined light switch, appears to be ok. Help.

I know you say the switch is ok but all these lights have different fuses,...so its almost certanly the side lamp switch...but I do recomend you check out the fuses....

This sounds very much like the switch. They sometimes have a tendency to burn themselves out with age. check the wiring carefully and the multiplug that connects to the light switch for scorching

Thanks tae John3 and Danny_R I went into my light switch again. I found what appeared to be a faulty no.15 connection in the multi socket. It's now working ok. Thanks.
