hi there i'm not sure. haven't done it myself, thankfully! is it a estate or saloon? on the estate, i would think when the say pull down, they mean 'up' the glass, as the tailgate will be upside down! does this make sense?

Well Its over now ) Manual says not all. On the back of my lamp cover there is a hole. I thought I put a screwdriver into and to push forward or down to release supposed lock. No way I could not find any. So "if still doesn't work, get a bigger hammer" After a day tryin I put a lot of power to detach the cover, I mea a LOT of power. Finally I got the cover off. Well, there is a lock inside and its supposed to be pushed down but even knowing it I could not release it when training for future. Tricky beast! In the end - bulbs were OK but the contacts were badly positioned. I fixed it in minute and now it works. regards kluge
