Over on the Confidential List a thread has been running for the past four months that has just been resolved. It relates to a Romanian owner whose 24V failed to start after it had been run. If the vehicle was left overnight the vehicle would start again. Other symptoms included a smell of petrol sometimes when it didn't start and severe negative Long Term Fuel Trims. The problem has been traced by the List to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail and http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fuelreg.htm is how the regulator was changed, while http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fuelrail.htm shows all fuel rails for petrol models. The discussion is shown in the OBD examples section http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/obd2scan6.htm and the other OBD pages have been updated.
