I'm in need of 4 new tyres for my Scorpio 2.3 Ultima Estate and wondered what you recomended? I currently have Avon ZZ3's on all wheels, 225/50 ZR16 92W.

Tyres likea lot of things are personal choice but there was a big discussion on this subject some time ago with lots of different options .. I must say however that a lot of people onher seemed to like the Michelin Primacy for cost and noise aspect.. they seem to be good with grip in most conditions... but I am sure there will plenty of feed back onthis one.... as I said its a personal choice thing really... but I honestly think the quality tyres are the best option.. after all they are your footprint and the only point of contact with the road surface.... hi there i have conti sport contact at the moment. they're a very good tyre, imo. however, i've spotted vredestein sportrac 2 at http://www.mytyres.co.uk/Tyres.html (type in size, then go to page 3). if the review is anything to go by, then a pair of them are next. hth

Yep, another one here with the Continentals. 225/50 ZR16 N1 to be exact. Apparently the N1 bit on the end means its a Porsche fitting. Not sure if thats right or not, but in any case I reckon they're great. Paul
