hssss sound from the solenoid

well hi everybody,im from sweden and since we dont have a scorpio forum here im gonna try yours.my problem is that my ford scorpio 2.9 automatic -90 suddenly i dont have enough power when im accelerating,the idle i perfect but when im accelerating i hear a hssss sound from the engine.after locating the hssss problem which came from the solenoid i replaced it with a older one from the autoparts,the same hsss is still there,forgive me for my bad english  ,please help a poor swedish guy!!!
