Fuel Injection Problem !!??

Hi Guys, Can somebody please please help, any and all info received will be greatly appreciated. I own a 1996 Ultima 2.6 12 valve V6 and it has just developed a problem. It started off by flooding number 6 cylinder with fuel to the extent that when i switched off it would fill the pot. I have stripped it down to the injectors but could not see any visible fault. I rebuilt it but now with the spark plugs out and turning it over it throws fuel out of number 4 pot !!!!. Could this be that i mixed up the injectors and one is sticking open?? or could it be wiring or ecu probs..I desperately need to get it up and running again over the week end.. PS does anyone know what the ignition timing should be set at ?? Thanks in anticipation guys..

It sounds like the injector is sticking open and as there is 3bar pressure in the fuel rail it would fill up when you checked them it sounds like you have now mixed up the wires that feed the injectors .. so if you need the firing order on the 12v V6 its 1-4-2-5-3-6 Its not possible to alter the ignition timing without the use of specila equipment ie the Fiord WDS system or the use of a star Tester.. as the eec control it electronically even thouugh you have a distributor and coil...... Hope this helps the injectors are the same as on the Mk 3 Granada... Cheers Snoopy
