Front suspension spring broken, how do i change it

My right spring on the front suspension has broke at the bottom part. I whant to change it by my self.
Has somone done it? Is it easy?
I havent found any advice on the site other than changing the hole front suspension. Just changing the spring must be easier?
Can any one help me how to do it?
I understand i have to compress the spring, but what do i have to remove. Is it from the top in the engine compartment?

In a word Yes.. to replace the spring is basically the same as replacing the suspension unit... It has to be removed from the car and you will need a spring clamp.. if you want the technical details of how to do it them email me off site and I will send the procedure in PDF doc.. hmacsnoopy@hotmail.com

I seems a little bit difficult. Will a be able to do it?
I did the linkarms by my self. And the rear discs and pads. But not something like this.
Is the pdf document exactly the same as the procedure in the service and repair "change front suspension"?
In that case i can just print it out as it is.

I replaced my front spring a few weekends ago. It is quite an easy job but make sure that you have good STRONG spring compressor as the spring takes some compressing.
