Hi, I just replaced my first LPG fuel filter which was fine but I was surprised to note that it was located between the vaporiser and the injectors. Do you think that's correct; I would have thought it would be before the vaporiser? Thanks Mike F

Hi Mike It all depends on what type and make of lpg system is fitted some like mine only have one filter between fuel tank and vapouriser which is the cartridge type, but others also have an inline filter after the vaporiser and before the injectors this is perfectly normal is doesn't hurt to have the filter where yours is, mine needs changing now too starting to run like a pig on gas, an lpg specialist in Lewes is going to do the job for me, they are also going to see if they can put an extra filter after the vaporiser in the pipe that leads to the intake manifold,..So its nothing to wory about you can never have too many filters in my opinion. Hi Mike At present i only get around 19 mpg around town and only managed about 22 mpg when i went up to Derby at beginning of May using lpg, it's a bit low i know because 1, needs a good service, 2, i have air con on most of the time, 3, think rear bearings are on their way out because i have a doning noise from rear of vehicle, or it could be the diff will have to investigate when i have the time. What about you? Whats your fuel consumption like on lpg? Regards Fitzy
