Diesel Head Tightening

Hi there I've stripped down my 2.5TD engine due to water being sprayed into the cylinders via the head gaskets. However, after reading the tightening sequence on the Ford TIS, I am still at a loss. The instructions are incredibly vague and with gaskets and head bolts costing as much as they do, its not something I want to take a chance on. Has anyone done this before? if so, what are the torque settings and bolt sequence, and what has to be done after the engine has heated? Thanks very much for any help you can provide Jim
