timing chain rattle

just changed my right hand chain tensioner on my cossie this morning to cure a slight rattle on start up from cold that lasted onlt about 1 second. job went ok, remembered to release the tensioner after installation. now, if i leave it about 1 hour when it is still warm it rattles on start up. any ideas anybody? also changed the oil for magnatec & a ford filter.

have the same problem it seems worse with the summer temp the only thing i can think is its still draining down with the oil being hot & thinner poss causes wear in the oil pump letting the pressure off have tried 20/50 it was the same as it got hotter or its wear & tear/mileage builds up i,ve got 70,000 on mine and it only does it on start up it is heat related, admin posted a couple of days ago wonder if he found anything out on his rattle bye des...........
