windscreen wash problem

Hi all, i have a problem with the windscreen water reservoir, when i press the button to wash the windscreen, the water goes onto the floor rather than the windscreen!, on checking, the pipe thats from the motor on the reservoir has come undone, (its about 15inches long) (the pipe guys ) problem is i cant find where this goes to! (oh im expecting so many comments here!) any ideas, i know it cant be far away, unless im missing some long pipe.... soloutions please experts.

Hi Have you tried filling the water back up then asking someone to sit in the car and press the button while you look under the bonnet to find where the water is coming from and find where the pipe should be connected too deliver the water to the jets and not pour out on the floor. Just a thought.

Sorry misread your request on mine the pipe is fed towards the back of the engine compartment and hidden up, behined cover under the bonnet the cover I'm talking about is held in place with round studs to feed the jets which are on the top of the bonnet
