i have a small problem, when the car gets to operating temp after a short time and after a short run of 10 miles it develops a sort of grumbling noise on accelaratin and wont accelarate quickly, it sounds like a throaty exhaust and takes an age to accelarate, 4rds tried to read the fault but could not read the pcm/ecu as it is a earlier model pcm.
could anyone else with a 12v read thier pcm/ecu and give me the numbers of it as i tried a scrappy and thier pcm/ecu gives the same number, see pcm/ecu topic.
thanks ianmc

well i tried a 2.9 24v ecu from a scrappy on ebay and the connectors are different, as i thought they would be, so i need to know if the part number 90GB 12A650HB 03/16/95 is correct for my 2.9 12v, also tried the ford parts line and they also drew a blank on the ecu part numberHuh??, so if anyone can help in my quest for the golden hind or simalar part number, also looking for a air flow sensor for the 2.9 12v,
thanks again

Hi Ian Mc Try these numbers for the part you need FINIS 1017243

or part number V95GB12A60AB

If you are thinking of buying from FMD  beware VEry Very costly   over £500 which includes a £75 surcharge

Good luck

hi Ian ..not sure about your ecu search but the numbers are notoriously confusing ..perhaps better to look for the code on a large sticker ..I think yours may be BABY ..there are other four letter ones < codes that is > ..but anyway ..why aren't you thinking cat breaking up or blockage ?  ...  regards .STN
