can anyone tell me why my top rad hose keeps bursting on my 2.9 v12 scorpio ,it look like iam getting to much of a presure build up in the coolant.

Also you may have an airlock or your head gasket/gaskets could be on the way out.

Also a partially blocked rad, Try giving it a flush and test the thermostat and replace if needed then fill your system slowly, Hope it is not the gasket/gaskets as i stated ealier as this will cost you.

hi i had a gas check in the water coolant today all fine no signs of gas leaks in the water , ok rite these r the things i have done (change head gaskets /thermostat/flushed and back flushed rad,so wot do u all think can it still be head gaskets, too much presure is that the cause of a head gasket.

If its still happening then change the filler cap as it may not be venting correctly as they still are pressure activated... as I understand .. so thats got to be the last thing.....Just one thought IS the ater pump circulating the water correctly... otherwise can't think of anything else other than what you have already done.... See what the others have to say.....
