I have been reading through the pages and come across someone who has a problem with the self adjusting lights. I have a 95 ultima 2.00 12v and have not been able to see a way (via a switch i assume) of adjusting the lights, and did not know i could Am i missing a trick or is there a switch somewhere? I have memory / heated seats electric everything etc but have not seen this feature. Anyone know? Thanks

in that case you probably HAVE self levelling suspension,it yours were adjustable from inside the car,the leveller dial would be incorporated with the headlight switch HTH craig

after hunting high and low for the switch (for the air con mod),some early cars had it,some later cars had it,probably one of those "quirky" ford things, but if you dont have the headlight levelling switch inside the car,the headlights are automatically adjusted to the right level, and obviously if you have the switch you just "do it yourself" so to speak,so cbkz,it looks like you DO have the headlight levelling, but it is all done automatically for you,you dont have to worry...... PS if you do decide to look for a dual switch, just to make it look better,or for the aircon mod, good luck,i had nothing but trouble trying to find one, having said that, there was one for sale on e-bay last week i think, last time i looked bidding was at £25.50 HTH craig..

hi there just to point out the the headlights don't adjust the levelling automatically. that's where the switch comes in. there's two types of headlights, with and without motors. only if you have the adjustable light switch, will you have the headlights with the motors. btw these cost about £150+VAT from fmd!

Craig, With regards to the switch, I must have had one all the time; I found it in my box of bits and never knew it was there. I could have saved you all the trouble so I apologise profusely!! Baz
