heater not working properly

Hi,
I have a problem with my Cosworth 1995. The airco seems to be working fine, but when I turn the heater on, and set the temperature i.e. 27 degrees Celsius, warm air comes out of three of four vents on the dashboard. The passenger vents work properly, and so does the steering side vent, but the central vent at the steering side only gives cold air. Note that I have a right/hand drive car which means that the left one of the two central vents doesn“t work in that sense that air comes out but it“s always cold air.
What could be the cause of this problem....

have you tried doing a cc re-set ?
