Gearbox Shudder

i am sure i noticed a post on here a few weeks ago about the auto box on a scorpio shaking as though you were going over a cattle grid
i have not had my scorpio long and just today while taking a trip to manchester down the motorway on the odd occasion i could feel this shudder as described like going over a cattle grid...this only happened on 4-5 occasion on the whole trip and easing off the throttle stopped the problem straight away....i was sure i read that changing the gearbox fluid could solve the problem, or is there a worse problem that could be causing the fault...am i right about this...i have tried to search the forum but could not get any results back
any help greatly appreciated
