Please can anybody help ?
Drove 100 miles, car working perfectly and when I returned 3 days later my 12valve 2.9 Scorpio 1995 would only spin over and not fire ! I checked the car and found no spark, then I called RAC out and he said there was no spark either, checked the coil, fuel cut off, all correct, but cant work this one out, has anyone experianced problems like this, I have had the car 3 years and it now has 121000 miles, any help would be appeciated

Sounds like you have a duff battery. Do the needles on all the dials flick over to the right and back again when you turn the ignition on? This is a sure sign. Cbrowng had the same problem a few posts earlier. See "24V Ultima 1998: Hard to start ".

If you have NO spark then either the coil is duff or you have a break in the ignition circuit... Try taking a direct feed to the coil from the battery and see if it fires up and you get a spark if so it confirms the wiring breakage...I do assume that you have checked ALL the fuses etc.....
