I have problems with the freshair fan, it stops while running at all speed positions - after a few second it's start again. It's seems to be a overheating problem in the clima control circut, I belive ? I wonder if anyone have simular problems, and how much it will cost to repair ? Scorpio -96 2.0-aut. mvh R.Sundvall

This seems to be the problem of the month as I have spotted three others with the same trouble. It seems that you will soon have to replace the motor control unit which sits just above the blower box between the wiper hubs. Mine has been as yours is since I bought it about 6 months ago and it has now failed completely. I took mine out and it is impossible to repair and I am told that a replacement costs the better part of £100 so I am looking into a means of leaving the fan on permanently at a reasonable setting. The second hand option seems a bit dodgy as they all seem to be failing but you may get lucky. I wish you every success in getting a reasonable replacement but I am going to stick with a bodge for the moment. Ron.
