2.016V water pump

Is the 2.0 16v water pump the same as that of 8v DOHC from older Granada and 8v Ultima? Cause my local Ford spare parts' dealer (not FMD) tried to sell my a new downstream HOS with a plug (I'm aware it's impossible - had read the site before  ) from a newer Focus at a price twice as high as the ordinary one (without plug) Now I will replace the pump - I don want to be cheated any more!!!!
