can anybody confirm the torque settings in the data sheet just blown one of my head gasket and when i looked up the data it says for the m14 520 ftlb for 2nd and 3rd stage,m12 631 ftlb these seem just a little bit tight

I dont know either - but those settings seem well OTT. I reckon you'd snap some bolts off there mate.

cheers for the help i finally found the setting in the auto data book where i had my heads presure tested and skimmed,the technical spec on the page you suggested has got a typing error it should be thirty nm then 70 degrees/then 70 degrees.the job is a bit of a ball acher to do as there is a 12 stage torque setting
