2.5 td interior & door lights not working

i have a 1996 scorpio td saloon. i was istalling a new bulb to the rear roof light when i shorted the positive wire to the ground. all the lights went out and i thought i had blown a fuse. i checked the fuse box but could not find a blown fuse even after checking everyone. anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Hi Edds,
Should be fuse 24  in central fuse box, this is the fuse box that's drivers side, under bonnet, by windscreen  . as A TEST I think fuse 24 also does the stereo power, does ya tunes play? Good luck

the stereo works fine that never went off untill just when i pulled fuse 24 now its asking for the code(i dont think i was given it). but still no interior or door lights
is there a relay or a trip switch somewhere?
i`m all out of idears now.

Try checking fuse 36 the power saver one it might have blown first!
