hi all i am new to your site and fords i have an m reg 2.0 dohc auto granada-scopio(105104 miles). what should i get mpg, at moment i get about 18-20 mpg on any jouney. the fuel comp from fuel remaining reads 2-3 miles more then the trip ometer.this is the only prob i have with otherwise an exellent car. on your forums it says clean maf but mine has a map . could you kind people help please.
I used STP Injector cleaner on my 2.3 Auto Scorpio and the MPG vastly improved. I put 1 350ml bottle in with £20 of fuel twice and after the second go the mpg improved by about 5MPG
You might have better advice on the Granada site, this site is dedicated for Scorpios, not being at all rude just these cars are so different that some advice given may prove to be wrong. I think your Granada has a engine which is not in any Scorpio.
