HI everyone, is there a way of manualy making the back part of the seat wind up. Mine has stopped working. All other functions on it are ok but it will not come out of the recline position. Ok some might say i was a bit dumb trying to see if the recline position worked when i knew the unrecline was having a problem. The good news is i now have very long arms and am about 6 inches from the pedals just so i can drive. Thanks in advance. oh it is a 95 16v 2.00 ultima

Sounds like a switch problem raather than a motor one if it styill works one way.... Try rtaking the switch part to bits and giving it all a clean need the seat out though I think but thats not too difficult job just six or seven bolts to undo and a couple of multi connectors takes about 10 mins.... May even just be a wire off,,, If that doesn't work then you might be able to wind the motor manually.. whiles its out... Be carefrul its is very HEAVY seat.....
